Launching from the Romulan Neutral Zone's Starbase 39, the 101st Task Force and the rest of 10th Fleet set off for their new home on the edges of Federation and Klingon territory. This brand new era of peace is only smeared by a ruthless attack on the 101st as it passes between both Klingon and Gorn territory, when the Gorn attack the formation and cut off the 101st from the rest of her fleet.
Vice Admiral Ben Walker and his captains can only hold them off for so long, with the Gorn having reinforcements after reinforcements, Captain Kerr advises him to use some of those old hat tricks to get them out. Without further delay the Klingons are called in to help, but will the 101st make it back in time to rejoin the fleet or will they be cut off and be forced to stay behind nursing their wounds?
